3:30 am and a couple of hits to the snooze button. Are we really getting up this early to fish? Yes. Yes we are. "It's going to be awesome!", I cheered only to be met with groans and protest. We literally drug Sean out of the bed by his ankles. Little did we know that Seany Boy would out fish us all and want to fish every day. For the past 11 years Corey and I had wondered what Chief Kiwanda's rock looked like on the other side. We have been watching and photographing Dory boats in awe. Neal has been surfing around PC for a few years now. Today we would get to experience our favorite place on earth in a whole different way. It would be a dream come true to live here and be a part of this amazing community. Today we would get a little glimpse of what life would be like. And it was as Captain Mark would say....Epic! Mark and Rod are amazing guides. Welcoming, genuine, rugged, and knowledgeable. They are good people who took care of us like you would your family. We peppered them with questions and loved hearing their stories. The fishing was amazing. One after the other, then two and three at a time! The experience will be remembered forever. Thank you Captain Mark and Rod! Much love to you from your new friends, the Thompson Family (Corey, Krista, Neal and Sean)
