Today we woke up at 4:15 to the smell of coffee and bacon. Another day of fishing, another day of waking up way too early. Went down to to the beach in the beautiful Pacific City and watched the sun rise through the thick, misty early morning fog. But there was something different about today. It wasn't really a normal day of fishing. The waves were huge and it was a nightmare to get the boat out of the beach. Well at least for me. I was sitting up front. But when we finally got out there, we started catching fish so fast, that we maxed out of rockfish in about 45 minutes. We than headed to the crab pots to pick them up and got about 40 crabs. Even through some of the toughest waves I have ever been through on a boat, we still managed to max out on rockfish and pick up 40 crabs. We then headed back to shore and are currently having breakfast at 8:30. At mark, our tour guides, house. That is where I write to you today, in hopes I can do this again sometime.
