We started out before the sunrise with an easy run off the beach. It was only a short run out to the rockfish grounds where we limited out in no time. One rockfish after another! Next we were off to find some salmon and collect our crab. After looking for birds and seams in the water, we were able hook up with three salmon: one wild coho and one hatchery keeper, then a really nice keeper chinook! After a bit more trolling, This was the best part of the trip! Lots of action and a bunch of Ling cod! We made the run back to the beach, enjoying the sun and several whale sightings near the boat. Such a great day, and it just happened to be three father and son duo’s, so a great group. A great time with a wonderful crew!
