A trip full of laughs, beautiful views, and so many fish and crab!!

A trip out on the dory boat is like no other! As this was my first time, I had no idea what to expect. My limited expectations were absolutely blown! Starting the fishing trip from the beach makes for a fun and interesting departure and landing. It’s certainly a rollercoaster ride, but in the best way possible. You dive right into the fun! The crew is very thorough and thoughtful of where each person stands, as they know the most perfect way to balance the boat and make sure everyone feels safe and happy! Since there is a limit of 6 people fishing on the boat, the experience is extremely personable. Mark and Buddy checked in with each and every one of us countless times throughout the trip. It’s clear that they truly care about their guests experience. Even though we experienced some undesirable weather in the beginning (fog and wind), Mark and Buddy made the absolute best of the hand we were dealt. We moved around searching for fish until everyone filled their limit. Making sure no one goes home empty handed is a top priority, all while ensuring everyone has fun and feels welcome. We all caught our limit of rockfish and crab, and just hit barely below our limit of lingcod. We fished until our hearts were content and then headed back to the shop to enjoy good company and even better crab!
