This adventure was my husbands idea for our anniversary celebration. Let's just say I was expecting something much different. But this turned out to be the most amazing experience ever!! I watched the sunrise, witnessed the colorful clouds transform, and stared through the ocean waters. The up close view of the Haystack Rock makes it seem like you are a blip in the water. The birds fly near the boat and I've never seen so many pelicans before and they are awesome! During our ride, I didn't think of anything, I was totally present the entire time. It was peaceful yet exciting, thrilling and serene. And yes, I actually caught 5 fish! I'll be sore tomorrow from using muscles I didn't know I had. Much respect for fishing. It was incredible. Totally unreal experience. Now I need a nap.
