Epic Sea Dory Morning!!

My wife and I saw the dory fleet coming in on a trip to the coast last year and I immediately started planning a trip for this summer. We got the extended family assembled and spent a couple days enjoying the beach and getting ready for our morning with Mark and Marcus. When we woke up this morning, it was a little windy/rainy, but we geared up, jumped in and went out through the surf to the crab pots. We got a nice load of crab and got to watch a sea lion enjoy an octopus breakfast! Once the pots were pulled, we headed around the corner to the cod spot and went to work on a limit of really nice rockfish and seven nice lingcod….all by 9:30 am!!! Oh, and before I forget, Mark and Markus were telling fish tales about having caught a 30# ling cod last week, and about 30 minutes before we wrapped up our day, we landed a 40”, 30+ lbs green ling cod that’s an absolute personal best! Awesome morning with Pacific City Fishing, we’ll be back!!
