A couple of months ago my dad asked me if I wanted to go out in the ocean fishing in a dory. I said yes without really knowing what a dory was so I did a little research and was surprised at the fact we would be launching from the Beach. The day came and we set out right as the sun was rising. I was amazed at how smooth the ride was and how easily we moved across the water. Captain mark and helper were amazingly friendly and made sure we got on the fish. One of us caught a monster ling cod which we let go to ensure it would carry on and reproduce . All in all it was an absolutely amazing trip and I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day. A lifetime dream on a whim began with a email to Pacific City Fishing upon which I received a prompt response. The day was spectacular, not only was the weather phenomenal Captain Mark was awesome and helped get me lined out upon I very quickly caught my first fish. This adventure was more than I expected and I already plan on many more trips with friends and family in tow. Our big ling cod went back in the water to make more babies
