Getting up early is well worth it when you get to spend time on a boat fishing and catching and having a laugh with the crew you just met. Bringing a nice warm layer and rain coat was very helpful in keeping me completely comfortable at all times. As a first time experiencing a dory boat, it was so much fun and not scary at all if you’re concerned about launching or landing. Mark was very helpful in teaching how to hold the rod and reel properly and very knowledgeable, his deck hand buddy was just as awesome as well.
