fishing pacific city dory boats. I had been watching the Dory boats land on the beach for years. It looked exciting and fun. So when my husband invited me along to go Dory boat fishing I was intrigued but not totally sure about the whole thing. When we were getting out to the water we got a bit of a slap from a wave. Then off we were to our first fishing spot. We were catching, at times, two or three fish at the time. Once we caught our limit we also trolled for salmon. And got some of those! All the while spotting whales here and there. For twenty years I have been coming to Pacific City but this is the first time I got  to experience the cape, the beaches and the ocean from the other side. Thank you, Captain Lytle!
