First I was pretty scared to go out through the surf. My heart was racing to go, so I was holding on but then once we got through the first wave I was fine and excited. Then we got out and started fishing. In the first couple seconds I got one fish. I was so happy to catch my first fish ever. Later we got a lot of fish. We maxed out in the first hour with rockfish so we went to catch ling cod. We only cought 3 cods. But I got two and one was the biggest fish out of the whole time we're out, 30 inches long. When we came in it was the best. He put up the engine full and speed to the sand were we went fling on the sand which was the best ever.That was the best fishing experience ever. I can't wait till next time.
