Pacific city fishing halibut

Pacific city fishing halibut. Choose to go for halibut instead of fishing for bottom fish. Met at 5am Mark was anxious to get going. Three of us went out on the dory off the beach, 1st time for any of us. It was great fun. We ran for 15-20 minutes to get to the halibut fishing area. We fished for 5 hours caught one petroli soul. Fished another hour and finally caught a very nice halibut. 40+ pounds. We fished for another hour caught a lingcod that we couldn't keep since we choose to go for halibut. The weather was great. We got 22 crab on the way in. The landing was fun, overall a great day! Wayne Woodbridge
