pacific city fishing Utah. Had a great day! We woke up REALLY early to get to the beach by five am. Luckily, we were staying close by so we got there really quick.  We popped some Dramamine right before getting on the boat.  The sea wasn't too choppy, but we thought to take some precautions anyway. The launch was a blast! Captain Mark did a great job. We only drove a little way before we stopped and put in our poles. Immediately we caught our first Rockfish. We moved around a little bit after that.  We never sat in one place for too long. Apparently, Dramamine works best if you take it the night before. Despite our best efforts, three people still got sick.  I hadn't ever been fishing in the ocean, but Mark was patient and taught me what to do. It wasn't long before I pulled up a large cod! We hit a hot spot for a little bit and pulled up fish after fish. We caught our max of rockfish really early so we went and pulled up some crab pots. After a smooth landing on the beach, we are boiling up our crab and looking at a wheelbarrow full of fish.  We had a great time!
