Smooth and easy!

As dawn broke we were met in the parking lot with a well prepared boat and crew. After a brief but thorough safety talk we loaded up and headed toward the surf. the launch was sporting but fun and we were off to the fishing grounds. With the sea state Mark decided to run to find some softer water and we had a beautiful ride towards our destination. We landed and began fishing and the whole group had action almost instantly. We closed out our limit of cod in short order, and our limit of bass was filled out in the same fashion. The run back to the cape was smooth with following seas and once the crab pots were pulled we headed in for a fun and easy landing back on the beach.

The weather was pretty cool with light wind and we were all glad to have come prepared with some layers and rain gear.

All together a great day with limits before 9:30. The abundance of the ocean will never not surprise us and we will return!
