We Almost Didn’t Go!

Our first time fishing off a Dory and that in and of itself is enough of a reason to join Captain Mark and Buddy on a Pacific City Fishing tour. Everything about the day exceeded my expectations starting with us waiting out the weather and the swells to find the perfect time to launch. I was never cold, never felt scared about the ocean and never expected this much action. The whole boat limited out of Rock Fish in less than 20 minutes. We caught several Ling Cod and a few other interesting species. The day ended too soon but not before we stopped at Mark’s crab pots—54 keepers later (!!) we headed for shore and landing the Dory was a highlight too. Mark and Buddy were great guides and super helpful for those of us who needed a little coaching. The group was fun and I think everyone had a fantastic time. I know I did!!
