5am departure. Quick trip to the fishing grounds. Limited on bottom fish and moved north in search of ling cod. Pulled crab pots with good numbers. Pulled up a Red Irish lord. Couldn’t ask for a better day to fish. Great captain and crew.

For most of us, it was our first trip fishing on the ocean! We had a great trip filled with excitement, some cold weather, but ultimately it was a blast! Our good luck charm, always mom, managed to reel in the halibut today. We had great people to guide us through the entire trip.
