A genuine experience fishing  pacific city,       the only girl on the fishing trip in Oregon, I felt the need to keep up with the boys (my brother and boyfriend). They, as previously experienced fishers knew exactly what to expect. Mark, the guide, taught me exactly what to do. I had a little bit of a learning curve but I got the hang of it. My boyfriend, pulling in yet another fish, was ecstatic on the size of it. He's never been fishing in the pacific before and is seeing these types of fish for the first time. A little while later my brother pulls out a giant lingcod, it was massive! I had been having some luck pulling five decent sized rock bass out of the ocean and feeling pretty good, when I snagged my lure on the bottom of the ocean. Mark ran over to help, but sadly it wasn't any use. Oh well, happens to everyone mark told me. He was so kind and friendly when I lost a second one. He really helped out and made the fishing trip such a blast! We couldn't have asked for a better guide. This was such a great trip that I can't wait to do it again next year. The boys may have gotten bigger fish, but I lost two lures, so who is the real winner here?
