The forecast the night before looked gloomy and treacherous. When we arrived at 5 am, the surf was calm and the wind was low. Mark promptly took us to a spot where we began to pull bass in like crazy. My dad and I limited out within an hour. We then began the search for lingcod. Mark told us we were floating over a good spot for them, and sure enough my dad and I both had one on within 5 minutes. An overall exceptional day on the sea!
