We woke up early this morning before daylight, we all we rushed out the door no need for coffee as everybody was chomping at the bit to get out on the ocean. We got to the ocean and met our cheery captain with his first mate we all hopped on our boat and waited for further instruction on how the day would progress. Eventually we were on our way out with a fleet of other dory boats at our side going out to fish. At our first spot to fish they got our poles and lures and got them set up. After letting line out and being instructed to rep up fast everybody hooked into fish the rush never stopped in a matter of minutes we limited out on black bass amongst 5 people, a whopping 20 Rockfish. After that excitement we went on to salmon fish. We trolled along catching an occasional Coho salmon and almost losing our cool every single time there was a bite, there is nothing on this earth I can compare it to. After our long haul of salmon fishing, with our two hatchery salmon bagged the rest released (after pictures of course) we stopped for crab. Pot after pot came up and we soon had over 50 crab to take home. After this experience of a lifetime I will be returning one day to bring a family of my own out to fish to Oregon coast for the first time and enjoy seeing all the smiles that they have on their face just like mine today.
