Grandpa took me out for my first rockfish/lingcod trip!

Woke up nice and early in the morning, got to the parking lot nice and early and got familiar with our gear and our spots in the boat. After we made our way down to the beach, we launched off the sand which was a sup by er fun thing to experience, and made our way to where we thought the fish were hiding. It took us a little bit to find where the rock fish were and what they wanted, but as soon as that got dialed in we limited rockfish within 5-6 min, with a few lingcod as well. After finishing that up and switching to lingcod gear it was just a matter of making the passes and finding the fish! It was a little tricky at first, but the crew helped us figure it out and we soon limited on those too. I got lucky and landed the biggest ling of the trip, and would definitely come back again to book another trip. Overall a 10/10 experience. Very knowledgeable and well equipped crew that helped me have an awesome experience!
