Today, five of us left right at 5am to a beautiful foggy day, going out just beyond the Haystack. The bite on rock fish was a little slow at first, but when it picked up, we couldn’t miss. Limits all the way around, and Joaquin, the youngest on the boat, was pulling up two and even three fish at a time. We then went to the crab pots and quickly found our limits there. Then we went after salmon. The open water was a little choppy, but once we got to open water, the salmon were HUNGRY!! Everyone on the boat limited out- something we never expected. This was an unreal day that we will all remember, even if Joaquin (age 11) caught more fish than anyone:)
