Midwesterners take on the Pacific

Flew in from Milwaukee to Seattle Thursday morning and then spent the night with my cousin Will. After night of pizza and Pinot from the Willamette. We hit the hay early, ferry rides cross the Puget were really something, but nothing like the views we saw today with Captain Mark and Buddy.

As you enter Pacific city, the views of the obelisk to the west are unbelievable, and then the dunes to the north are also something to be hold. Then we went out on the water straight out into the surf with surfers and beach goers to the left. It was the exciting ride out beyond the surf!

We had planned on fishing on Saturday, but the swells were coming in and the good people of Pacific city Fishing were more than willing to accommodate us for an afternoon trip.

First, we went for rock fish and we had two on one line and one on the other. The rockfish just kept coming we met our limit very quickly. Then we went for Ling cod and we weren’t as successful, but there were many fish biting as quickly as they’d bite they’d spit out our chewed bait.

After Fishing for the ling cod, we pulled up the Crab, the crab pots, and there we more than reached our limit with massive Dungeness crab.

After that we went back to the office of Pacific city and they steamed up our crab and filleted our fish and. We had an amazing time really really great trip strong recommendation for anybody a real adventure!
