pacific city fishing chinook salmon. Went rock and long cod fishing this morning at 5:30.  Weather was overcast, with calm seas.  Fishing was good right up to the point I hooked into a huge spring chinook.  Chaos and excitement erupted as we all gave advice on how to land this big fighter.  Very unusual and exciting surprise!
