Pacific city ling cod fishing

Pacific city fishing ling cod. I arrived at 5:00am with family in town from Negley, Ohio and started the morning fishing for bass. Caught our limit by 7:00am. For the remainder of the morning the bite remained hot while trying our hand at catching our ling cod. 1st pass was nothing, moved to another spot. Dropped our lines in the water and within minutes "FISH ON", our biggest ling of the day! Picked up a number of rock fish and Ling's on each pass. By 10:00am we had our ling cod limit and were heading back to the beach. Conditions were perfect. 2-3 footers with wave periods running around 13 seconds on a foggy morning keeping the wind at bay clearing up as the morning went on.
