We met Mark at 7am..was a cool and cloudy but nice weather. We got situated in the boat then embarked through the waves to open water. We hit one wave that hit the boat hard but otherwise smooth sailing. We started fishing for Seabass firsts and had our limit within about an hour or so. One guy in our party caught a small a salmon (much too small to keep). We then moved to the cod fishing grounds. We immediately caught a small one and had a few other bites. The boat ended up keeping two cod. We did some jigging for halibut at the end of the trip but didn't have any bites. Overall a great trip. One of the best experiences is coming back to in to the beach at the end of the trip..a very fun and unique experience.
