Got an early start at about 5:30am. Well worth it. Got our first fish before the sun came out. We started with rockfish and snatched a vermillion. We caught about 20 bottom-fish before moving on to salmon fishing. Right off the bat we caught a native but had to throw it back. The salmon catching slowed and the seasickness caught up to a few passengers (unfortunately). We managed to catch 6 salmon that we could take with us. The natives were biting more often the hatchery salmon. We moved on to the crab pots and hit the jackpot. By then we managed to pull off a grand slam and had all of our passengers get sick, lol. All in all a very good run today, all passengers were pretty successful even those who felt seasick. Mark and Marcus were extremely helpful and did a great job of showing the passengers what to do and how to do it. Today’s trip with Pacific City Fishing was one that will not be forgotten.
