It was an early mourning getting up at 4:30, out on the water by 5:30. Launching the boat from the Beach was a first time experience at first it was a hit intimidating but when we started going it became really fun and an experience like no other. Catching rockfish at first was a bit difficult for me since it was my first time fishing. Mark showed me what to do and how to do it so buy the end I was slaying the Rockfish. We finished with the Rockfish and moved onto crabbing. It was a good break from fishing and it was a good relaxing time. Mark stated to open up and I started to become really interested in fishing and I wasn't sea sick any more so the early mourning was starting to look like it was worth it. Now the real fishing started, we moved on to the salmon fishing and this really gets your blood pumping. It takes a bit of patience however because the bites aren't as frequent as the Rockfish but when the salmon bite everyone in the boat gets exited and when the pull in the salmon everyone is cheering. All in all this was a once in a lifetime experience and Mark was an excellent and positive guy witch made the experience even better. If anyone had a chance to fish with Mark they should take the opportunity right away Amazing day of fishing with Mark in Pacific City. Really unique experience launching the boat from shore and seeing a gray whale breach just as we took off. Caught countless rock fish including one gem of a cod a ton of crab. Salmon fishing was a bit more difficult but the whole team on the boat managed to bag a couple which we ended up splitting. Also loved hanging out in the garage afterwards, sharing a few beers and laughs while the team prepared our haul. If you get the chance definitely try some roe or a fresh piece of meat right off the table - it doesn't get any fresher than than!!! .
