It started with an early morning for tired boys. The 10 year old was the most tired, but it paid off as he started to reel in the Rock Fish. Every time he put his pole in the water he caught a fish. Everyone got some but he caught most. (Dad got a colorful Tiger Rock Fish, which we put back). After quickly hitting our limit we went fishing for Cod and then Salmon. We had no luck with the cod (except one caught early) so we moved on to Salmon. The first bite we had was, you guessed it, the kids pole. We woke him up to reel it in but it didn’t happen fast enough and the Salmon got away. We enjoyed the next few hours of beautiful weather but only got two more Salmon bites with both getting away. It was a great day on the water and worth getting up early.
