My stepdad drug me out of bed at around 4:00 am. I sleepily, and reluctantly, got ready for my first time on the ocean. Going out we had to crash through some big waves, but of course I was the only one who wasn't scared. Many Rockfish and Crabs later, we moved on to fish for Ling Cod. I ended up being the only one to catch one, which made me feel great considering I was the only girl on the boat. When we came crashing back to shore, I felt like my fingers were frozen, and I was tired and hungry. But I couldn't help but smile, because I was the only girl on the boat.
