We had been planning our oregan pacific city trip for months. We wanted a change from a 25 year trip we usually took to Carlsbab California.   The first thing we did wen we checked into the Cottages at Cape Kiwanda. Was get a recomendation from Dorie the concierge about scheduling  a dory fishing ride she handed me a card for Mark at Pacific City fishing. We scheduled on a Tuesday requesting a private and romantic adventure because Monday we were headed hiking   Long story short I ended up spraying my ankle hiking and thought I wouldn't be able to fish.  We arrived at 6:00 am Tuesday morning me on crutches but determined to give it a go. Unbelievably we were greeted by Mark and a friend of marks with a warm welcome smile and asurrance that I would be just fine.  They were right the boat entering and exiting the shore to water and water to shore was smooth as a babies but and the fishing and crab catching an eperience we will always remember. We caught 13-14 rock fish, 16 Dumgeness crab, and several good bites from the Salmon but not a catch (didn't matter we had more fish than we could eat. We went back to his house  cleaned and cooked it and boxed the rest to take home. Wow, amazing. Thank you Mark for the wonderful memories. We will be back. Edit Jim and tamie
